Bee & Bloom Garden (open this week!)
Grab a vase and a pair of clippers at the Farm Stand, then wander this way to our Bee & Bloom Garden—just east of the stand.
This week, you can build your own bouquet for just $15.
Our Bee & Bloom Garden is planted with the bees in mind—and your home in mind too. Zinnias are the stars of the show right now, bright and cheerful, and beloved by our pollinator friends. Every bloom you pick helps us keep this little patch thriving all season long.
We created this space to be a haven for bees, butterflies, and other helpful critters. By planting waves of flowers throughout the summer, we keep the buffet open for our winged visitors—and create a colorful spot for you to enjoy and gather a bouquet that’s all your own.
Our U-Pick Season typically runs from Mid-July to through September.
How It Works:
Grab a vase with water and clippers at the Farm Stand.
Walk east to the Bee & Bloom Garden—you’ll see the color calling you.
Clip what you love (and please return the clippers when you’re done).
Bring your bouquet back to the stand to pay.
Grab a cup and clippers…..start picking away…and have fun friends! You can pay at the Farm Stand before you leave.
A Few Friendly Reminders:
Be mindful of bees and butterflies—they’re working hard out here.
Cut stems cleanly to encourage new blooms.
Watch your step and take your time—it’s meant to be a slow, lovely wander.
Snap photos, breathe deeply, and savor the beauty.
Say “hi” and “thank” a bee today.
Why We Plant This Garden:
Pollinators rely on a steady supply of nectar and pollen. By planting and maintaining this garden, we help feed our bees and other beneficial insects while offering a fun way for visitors to connect with the farm. When you take home a bouquet, you’re supporting this little ecosystem and helping us keep the farm buzzing.
Bee Fact:
Did you know honeybees have tiny hairs on their eyes? These help them sense wind direction and speed while they navigate—nature’s built-in flight instruments!
